In every community, there are people who quietly go above and beyond—lifting others, meeting needs, and making a lasting impact. We call them Difference Makers. This issue, we are honored to highlight a truly unique and inspiring trio: sisters Tieraney, Tiffaney, and Torie. Each of these remarkable women has forged her own path, yet all share a common thread—a deep commitment to helping others and creating positive change in the world around them.

Though their individual stories stand alone, together they weave a powerful narrative of compassion, strength, and purpose. Whether through service, leadership, or advocacy, Tieraney, Tiffaney, and Torie remind us that making a difference often starts at home—with shared values, support, and a heart for community. We’re proud to celebrate each sister in her own feature and invite you to discover how this family of Difference Makers is leaving its mark in three distinct and meaningful ways.

Tieraney Craig owns Quincy Brewing Company with her husband, Josh Craig. Together they share two awesome kids, Falynn and Brecken, and a sweet pup named Layla. Tieraney and Josh recently completed a total renovation at 613 Maine Street, which began in July 2023. The couple also opened a new event space called “The Vault”, which is connected to the beer garden at QBCO. As of April 2024, their family relocated to the upper levels of the building where they maintain a permanent residence. Prior to opening the beloved downtown brewery, Tieraney’s background was in graphic design and photography.

I met Tieraney Craig shortly after moving to Quincy. I applied to work for the brewery, which was slated to open October 2019. As a small business owner who was living in a new town, I’d hoped to immerse myself and my business in the downtown area, as well as Quincy at large. I was awestruck after we met and continue to be to this day. We share a love of community and a strong work ethic. Most of our “interview” was us clicking about how much we love community and want to foster that downtown. Tieraney welcomed me into QBCO, her family, and quite frankly changed the trajectory of my life. In part, she is why I’m still in Quincy to this day. Her impact on not only me personally, but also my business, ripples outward. She has helped so many people live a better life and succeed with their businesses. I could go on and on. She is an inspiring person.

From humble beginnings, she worked with grit and grace to get where she is today. Anyone who regularly, or even briefly, encounters T (those familiar know her as T) knows she works her tail off for Quincy at large. She is a powerhouse of a woman and dear friend to many, but especially me. When describing her, I often tell others that I want to be T when I grow up. She is a beautiful example of a true Christian in how she carries herself with her family, friends, and within her business. She is the first person to offer a lending hand or invite you over for a holiday dinner when you’d otherwise be alone. She is the glue that holds many together, always hosting and helping whenever and wherever she can. She is driven by selfless service, organizing downtown clean ups twice yearly, as well as devoting much of her free time to The District. She is the better half of the booming Quincy Makers Market and is on so many committees and boards that I’ve lost track. I’m honored to highlight such a pillar in our community. I love working side by side on all things QMM and working at QBCO (I’m still there!). She is the most determined person I know. I enjoy seeing all her ideas flourish as she continues to bloom into a more graceful and beautiful person, year after year.

Tieraney is a difference maker; she is someone worth knowing.
